Communities to Host Special Programs and Events
ST. LOUIS, MO, UNITED STATES, September 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Allegro Living – operating Allegro, Alto, and Spring Arbor senior living communities – celebrates National Assisted Living Week from September 13 – 19, 2026. All Allegro Living communities in 14 states will recognize this week with special programs and events to engage residents, their family members, and staff.

National Assisted Living Week was established by the National Center for Assisted Living in 1995. For over 30 years, senior living communities throughout the country have marked this week as a time to honor residents and highlight the dedication of staff and caregivers. The 2026 theme for National Assisted Living Week is “Shining Through the Years.”
Allegro Living’s take on that theme is “Shine Lives Here,” which recognizes that residents have incredible and dynamic stories. Allegro teams help residents build on their stories and continue to shine.
Each Allegro, Alto, and Spring Arbor community is recognizing National Assisted Living Week in its own special way with programs, events, and activities tailored to what makes their residents shine.
Many communities began National Assisted Living Week with Grandparents Day celebrations on September 13. Other highlights include Spring Arbor of Cary hosting a Shine Lives Here Block Party, Gazebo Tea Party, and flash mob; Allegro Parkland hosting game shows, fitness and dance classes, and multiple social events with entertainment; and Alto Clermont hosting a Vintage Car Show with live entertainment, refreshments, and BBQ.
