Automated one-click invoicing drove the largest satisfaction gain as talent NPS rose 10.4 points, the platform’s strongest result to date.
LONDON, LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, August 11, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Index.dev, an AI-first engineering talent platform, today announced a record talent Net Promoter Score (NPS) of +87.2 for the first half of 2026, the highest in the company’s history and a 10.4-point increase over the prior period.
For the first time since the company began tracking talent sentiment, the survey recorded zero detractors. Of all the respondents, 87.2% were promoters and none rated the platform in the detractor range.
Every measured dimension of the contractor experience improved period-over-period, including project satisfaction, integration with client teams, communication, and payments. The largest single gain came from invoicing and payment satisfaction, which rose to 9.53 out of 10, a direct result of a new feature allowing contractors to generate and send invoices in one click from their timesheet, addressing feedback raised in a prior survey.
“This result reflects a simple commitment: our talent tells us what needs fixing, and we act on it. Reaching zero detractors tells us that commitment is working.” said Mike Sokirka, Deputy CEO at Index.dev.
Notably, the record score was grounded in a more experienced respondent base than prior periods. First-time survey participants fell to 31.9% of respondents, down from 46.4% in the prior period, indicating the improvement reflects the experience of tenured contractors rather than newcomer enthusiasm.
Index.dev said it will continue acting on contractor feedback, including initiatives around compensation transparency, payment-date predictability, and identity-verification processes.
