Motion Controls Robotics Adds Proven Tire Manufacturing Automation Technologies

Proven and established tire automation systems, backed by patented technologies, will continue to evolve through ongoing development and long-term support.

“This is about more than carrying forward a product line. It is giving tire producers a dependable automation partner to support equipment already in their plants and help them plan what comes next.” ”

— Scott Lang, President and CEO of Motion Controls Robotics

FREMONT, OH, UNITED STATES, August 13, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Motion Controls Robotics, Inc. (MCRI) will carry forward established RTS, DTS, and HTS tire spray systems, including familiar models such as the RTS1000i, RTS2000i, DTS1000i, and HTS100i. These systems will continue to be engineered, built, advanced, and supported for tire manufacturers.
Select patents, specialized technologies, and experienced team members associated with these systems are transitioning to MCRI.

“Our goal is to continue advancing the technologies tire manufacturers rely on, while supporting existing systems with MCRI’s engineering, service, and long-term integration resources,” said Scott Lang, President

The technologies support applications including green tire spraying, protective coatings for white letters and whitewalls, high-point painting, conicity tread striping, precision fluid delivery, robotic tire handling, bead loading, and automated inspection.

MCRI brings more than 30 years of robotic integration experience, along with in-house mechanical, electrical, controls, programming, machine vision, and service capabilities. Combining these resources with the specialized tire-industry expertise, joining MCRI will allow the company to support both individual tire processes and the automation surrounding them.

For existing systems, MCRI will provide engineering support, spare parts, programming assistance, upgrades, preventive maintenance, and lifecycle services. MCRI will also continue building, installing, and advancing new and custom tire automation systems using the transitioned technologies and intellectual property.

“This is about more than carrying forward a product line,” Lang said. “It is about giving tire manufacturers a dependable automation partner that can support the equipment already in their plants and help them plan what comes next.”

The new capabilities also strengthen MCRI’s ability to connect specialized tire processes with robotic handling, machine vision, controls, and AMR- and AGV-based tire transport throughout the plant.
