Cityscape Residential Names Tony Granillo Vice President of Development

Granillo will lead full-cycle development initiatives and support the company’s continued growth in the Kansas City market.

CARMEL, IN, UNITED STATES, September 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Cityscape Residential has named Tony Granillo Vice President of Development. Based in Kansas City, Granillo will lead real estate development projects from site identification and deal structuring through entitlement, construction, and delivery.

In his new role, Granillo will identify development opportunities, oversee project execution and financial performance, and cultivate relationships with municipalities, brokers, landowners, capital partners, and community stakeholders. He will also collaborate with Cityscape Residential’s construction and property management teams to maintain alignment on project costs, schedules, quality and long-term performance.

“Tony brings a valuable combination of development expertise, technical knowledge and strong relationships within the Kansas City market,” said Jim Thomas, Co-Founder and Principal of Cityscape Residential. “His ability to guide complex projects from initial opportunity through completion will support our continued growth and strengthen our development capabilities throughout the region.”

Granillo brings extensive experience in real estate development and engineering. As Development Manager at NorthPoint Development, he managed the 2.1-million-square-foot, $280 million Foster Commerce industrial development, along with tenant improvement projects throughout the Kansas City market. His responsibilities included coordinating consultants and contractors, managing budgets, securing zoning approvals, and cultivating relationships with brokers, municipal leaders, and city councils.

At Copaken Brooks, Granillo provided development and owner’s representation services for several notable assignments. His work included supporting FIFA World Cup-related renovations at Arrowhead Stadium, where he coordinated vendors, contractors, and government jurisdictions while managing state funding, project financials, and forecasting. He also led real estate development projects across the Kansas City market.

Earlier in his career, Granillo spent eight years with Kiewit, leading engineering teams and supporting the design, construction and commissioning of large-scale solar, power generation and infrastructure projects.

“I am excited to join Cityscape Residential and contribute to the company’s continued growth in Kansas City,” Granillo said. “I look forward to working with the Cityscape team and our local partners to identify new opportunities and deliver successful projects that create lasting value for residents, investors and communities.”
