SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Forum Mobility, one of the nation’s leading zero-emission trucking solutions providers, today announced that it will break ground on four new electric charging depots across California, bringing an additional 30 MW of heavy-duty charging capacity online and cementing Forum’s position as one of the largest heavy-duty infrastructure players in the U.S.

The four new state-of-the-art electric truck charging depots span Northern and Southern California and feature both pull-through lanes with the newest high power charging solution, MCS, as well as traditional CCS charging ports. The pull-through lane configurations let drivers keep their chassis attached while charging, and the MCS chargers can deliver up to 60% range boost in about 30 minutes, allowing for a fueling experience that does not disrupt carrier operations.

Demand for the new capacity has been strong, with high initial utilization driven by foundational OEM and fleet commitments, with open public access for commercial carriers. Tesla will operate public Megacharging sites at three locations—FM Francis in Ontario, CA and FM Adeline and FM Coliseum in Oakland, CA. At FM Santa Fe in Rancho Dominguez, Forum Mobility has contracted fleet offtake for over 330 Tesla Semis, while maintaining open public access for the broader commercial drayage community.

In addition, Forum has added two Tesla MCS Megachargers to FM Harbor, its depot in the Port of Long Beach that has been operational since December 2024 (with 44 CCS charging ports and 9 MW of overall capacity). Forum is developing its next tranche of depots, including more in the Inland Empire and Central Valley in California, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Houston, Dallas, Seattle/Tacoma, and Chicago.

These depots have been funded in-part through grants and incentives from the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD), California Energy Commission (CEC), California Transportation Commission (CTC) and Caltrans, EnergIIZE, Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LA Metro), Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee (MSRC), South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD), and Southern California Edison (SCE).
