Acquisition of premier waterfront modern camp resort in Coos Bay, Oregon represents company’s 41st property nationwide
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Streamside RV Resorts & Campgrounds, one of the fastest-growing owner-operators in the outdoor hospitality sector, today announced the acquisition of Bay Point Landing in Coos Bay, Oregon. The transaction marks the 41st property in Streamside’s rapidly expanding national portfolio and aligns with its strategy of acquiring high-quality, experience-driven outdoor hospitality assets in supply-constrained leisure destinations. Originally founded in 2018 and developed, owned, and operated by NBP Capital, Bay Point Landing represents Streamside’s first acquisition in the Pacific Northwest and along the coastline.
Located at 92443 Cape Arago Hwy, Coos Bay, Bay Point Landing is Oregon’s premier waterfront modern camping resort. Overlooking the bay approximately four hours south of Portland and 2 hours southwest of Eugene, the property offers easy access to Southern Oregon’s picturesque coastline. Situated near Basterndorff Beach, Sunset Bay State Park, and Cape Arago State Park, and a short drive to world-renowned golf destination, Brandon Dunes, guests can experience some of the most spectacular ocean views in the country.
Preserving the bay’s natural beauty, the design clarifies the character of the 103-acre inlet site by revealing the landscape and its history. The resort features 125 RV sites, 32 Scandinavian-inspired cabins, and 14 rentable Airstreams. On-site amenities include an indoor heated saltwater pool, bayfront fitness center, kids’ den and playground, bocce ball court, bathouses, and more.
Bay Point Landing has received numerous accolades across design, travel, and hospitality awards for its modern architecture and high-end outdoor resort experience. Recognition includes being named the “Best Place to Camp in the Pacific Region” by The Dyrt Annual Awards, winning the “Lodges + Camps” category at the Hospitality Design (HD) Awards, being named the “Most Innovative Glamping Resort” by Men’s Journal, and earning an “Editor’s Pick” in the Commercial-Hospitality category from Architectural Record‘s Best of Design Awards.
“We have been looking for the right way to enter into the Pacific Northwest market, and Bay Point Landing is exactly what we were looking for,” said Jen Milam, Chief Growth Officer at Streamside RV Resorts & Campgrounds. “It’s perfectly situated for travelers road-tripping along Highway 101, offering top-tier RV sites, lodging and amenities. This is a special property where guests can truly exhale, and aligns with our mission to offer places to breathe deeper, sleep better, and linger longer. Coos Bay is breathtaking, and we are excited for Streamside guests to experience its natural wonders.”
“Bay Point Landing was a special project for NBP Capital, born from a rare and beautiful piece of the Oregon coast,” said Lauren Noecker, CEO & Co-Founder of NBP Capital. “We brought in our development, design, and hospitality expertise to create a destination that was as distinct as its setting. Its architecture, design and connection to the landscape have earned recognition within the RV and hospitality communities and were incredibly proud to see Bay Point Landing enter its next chapter with Streamside. We are confident they will be a thoughtful steward of the property and build successfully on the vision, design and sense of place that made it so special.”
“Bay Point Landing was developed with one goal in mind: to connect guests with Oregon’s Adventure Coast in an entirely new way,” said Scott Foos, Managing Partner of Horizon Outdoor Hospitality. “Over the past nine years, the Horizon team, with strong support from ownership, has brought that vision to life through distinctive architecture, innovative accommodations, and a thoughtfully designed guest experience, earning recognition from leading travel publications and the trust of thousands of guests. Having worked closely with the Streamside team throughout the transition, I’m excited to see their enthusiasm and hospitality vision shape Bay Point Landing’s next chapter on the Oregon coast.”
The transition will not disrupt current park operations, and all existing guest reservations will be honored. Streamside plans to support the local team with national operational resources and will evaluate targeted capital investments to upgrade the property’s infrastructure over the coming seasons. Long-term, Streamside will work to integrate into the Coos Bay community, boosting local priorities and initiatives. In the immediate term, Streamside will focus on preserving the guest experience, supporting employees, and maintaining the property’s unique identity. By pairing Streamside’s national operational platform with local leadership, the transition ensures Bay Point Landing will continue delivering exceptional guest experiences while preserving the authentic charm and modern, resort-level amenities for guests.
