Main Capital Partners acquires majority stake in Raynet and becomes its new strategic growth partner for international expansion.
PADERBORN, NORDRHEIN-WESTFALEN, GERMANY, October 6, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Software expertise and technological vision come together to drive international growth, AI innovation, cybersecurity, and greater digital sovereignty in Europe across the entire technology lifecycle.
The market for IT asset data is entering a new chapter: Software investor Main Capital Partners has acquired Raynet, laying the foundation for significantly accelerated international expansion. The shared ambition is clear: Raynet intends not only to grow, but to actively shape the global market for True IT Asset Visibility as a foundation for IT Management and cybersecurity.
Raynet One is set to become the central platform for trusted IT asset data – for enterprises, technology partners, and a global services ecosystem. A platform that provides data organizations can trust and that partners can build on to develop their own solutions, services, and business models.
The timing is ideal: Cyber risks are increasing, regulatory requirements are becoming more demanding, IT environments are growing more complex, and artificial intelligence depends on reliable data. At the same time, digital sovereignty is becoming increasingly important across Europe. Organizations need the ability to manage their data, technologies, and dependencies transparently, independently, and securely across the entire technology lifecycle.
Complete visibility across all technologies and assets is therefore becoming a business-critical requirement – for successful IT Management as well as effective cybersecurity. This is the principle behind Raynet’s “Discover to Manage” vision: Organizations can only effectively manage, optimize, and secure what they can fully discover and understand.
Raynet has already built a strong foundation: a powerful technology platform, international enterprise customers, strategic technology and service partnerships, and recognition from leading analyst firms such as Gartner and Forrester. Now it is time to scale.
Together with Main Capital Partners, Raynet plans to significantly expand its international market presence, accelerate the development of AI capabilities within Raynet One, and build additional cybersecurity capabilities. Another key priority is to give organizations across Europe greater control, transparency, and independence within their software and technology ecosystems. At the same time, Raynet will continue to systematically expand its international partner ecosystem.
Selective acquisitions will further accelerate this strategy by adding new technologies and capabilities and providing access to additional markets. The goal is not to create a loosely connected collection of products or companies. Every step will serve one clear vision: to establish Raynet One as the central, unifying hub for trusted IT asset data and True IT Asset Visibility across the entire technology lifecycle.
“We have spent many years preparing Raynet technologically and strategically for this moment,” said Ragip Aydin, founder and CEO of Raynet. “Now we are shifting into the next gear. With Main Capital Partners, we have a strong partner at our side that shares our vision, understands software, and knows how to scale technology companies internationally. Our ambition is clear: We don’t just want to participate in the market for True IT Asset Visibility – we want to shape it.”
Ragip Aydin is making a significant reinvestment in Raynet and will remain substantially invested in the company for the long term. His reinvestment underscores his personal confidence in the shared vision, the growth strategy, and Raynet’s future potential.
The existing management team is also investing again in Raynet, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the company. Together with Main Capital Partners, the team will help shape Raynet’s next phase of growth and drive the execution of its ambitious strategy.
Raynet’s employees will continue to share in the company’s success. Participants in Raynet’s existing employee participation program will receive payouts as part of the transaction. At the same time, Raynet and Main Capital Partners have already jointly designed and developed a new participation program. This will give employees the opportunity to continue participating in Raynet’s long-term success and future value creation throughout the company’s next phase of growth.
“Raynet’s combination of IT Visibility, IT Asset Management, and security capabilities addresses a growing need among enterprises to understand and control increasingly complex IT environments. We are impressed by the company’s proprietary Technology Catalog, the capabilities of Raynet One, and the expertise of its team. We believe Raynet is well-positioned to benefit from the increasing demand for reliable technology data as organizations strengthen their IT operations and adopt AI,” said Sven van Berge Henegouwen, Managing Partner and Head of DACH at Main Capital Partners. “We look forward to working with the founder and management team to accelerate international expansion, further develop the product offering, and pursue complementary acquisitions.”
As part of the transaction, existing investor PINOVA is selling its stake in Raynet. With Main Capital Partners, Raynet is gaining more than a new owner – it is gaining a partner with the experience, international reach, and investment capacity to turn a strong vision into global market impact.
