Avyanco Crosses 11,500 Businesses Supported as Indian Demand for Dubai Company Formation Rises

Company formation options in Dubai

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — October 29, 2026 — Dubai-based corporate services advisory Avyanco has reached a landmark 11,500 businesses supported since 2020. The milestone coincides with expanding Indian business participation in Dubai, driven by strengthening economic and commercial ties between the United Arab Emirates and India.

Data from the Dubai Chamber of Commerce indicates that 18,486 Indian companies registered as members in 2025, making India the largest source country for new international business registrations that year. An additional 7,579 Indian firms joined during the first half of 2026, bringing the total number of active Indian company members to 85,841 by the end of June.

Dubai’s non-oil trade with India reached AED 222.5 billion in 2025, according to Dubai Chambers, highlighting the scale of the commercial relationship between the two markets.

Business Setup Framework in Dubai

Foreign investors evaluating company formation options in Dubai typically select between mainland, free zone, and offshore or holding entity structures based on target customer bases, physical location requirements, and operational scope.

Mainland companies can serve customers across the UAE market, subject to the applicable licence and activity requirements. Free zone companies may suit businesses focused on international operations or activities permitted within their chosen jurisdiction. Offshore and holding structures are generally used for specific asset-holding or ownership purposes and are not interchangeable with operating licences.

The appropriate structure depends on the proposed business activity and the regulations applicable to that activity.

Factors Affecting Company Setup Costs

The total cost of establishing a company in Dubai depends on several parameters, including jurisdictional licensing fees, chosen business activities, commercial real estate obligations, visa quotas, and specialized regulatory permits. Ongoing operational expenditure includes annual license renewals, mandatory accounting compliance, and corporate tax filings.

Mainland company formation in Dubai involves selecting an eligible business activity, reserving a trade name, meeting office or tenancy requirements where applicable, and obtaining the necessary approvals and licence. Processing times depend on the relevant authority, activity and completeness of the application.

Tax and Compliance Considerations

The UAE’s corporate tax framework generally applies a 0% rate to taxable income up to AED 375,000 and a 9% rate to taxable income above that threshold, subject to the applicable rules. Qualifying free zone persons may receive a 0% rate on qualifying income if they meet the relevant statutory conditions; free zone status alone does not guarantee that treatment.

The UAE Ministry of Finance has extended the Small Business Relief regime to eligible tax periods ending on or before December 31, 2029. Eligibility requirements apply, including the relevant annual revenue threshold of AED 3 million and other statutory conditions.

Indian residents establishing or investing in a business abroad should also review applicable Indian overseas investment requirements and seek professional advice where necessary.

Dubai-based consultancy Avyanco reported reaching 11,500 client engagements since its establishment in 2020. The consultancy provides operational assistance for corporate licensing, visa processing, Emirates ID administration, bank account opening setup, and statutory corporate tax registration.
